In the past decades, curve network has been widely used as a sparse abstract representation for free-form surfaces. It is intuitive for designers to edit curve networks directly by drag-and-drop operation on an abitrary point, because the designers pay more attention on the lower-dimensional curves rather than the surface itself. In this paper, we present a general framework for editing a free-form surface by manipulating points on its curve network. This approach is very efficient and easy-to-use by working on a network of curves.
