In this system, the signal strength received by the receiving device from the transmitter is measured to determine the distance between the receiving device and the transmitter. This is done to provide solutions to problems that often occur indoors, such as losing your way or not knowing your exact position in a building or buildings. One type of transmitter that is often used in indoor positioning systems based on RSSI measurements is WiFi and Bluetooth. This study proposes an indoor positioning system based on RSSI measurement values using wireless transmission media including WiFi and Bluetooth technologies. The use of wireless media is used because it has advantages, such as a fairly wide signal coverage and relatively low implementation costs. The test results show that there is a difference in the distance between the reference point and the estimation point due to large variations in fading and shadowing inside the building.
