The study also aims to notify residential owner of any excessive water usage from the cloud platform's analysis. The method implementation for this work is based on the prototyping model where a device of automatic meter reading that read the water flow using the water flow reading and water meter reading on an actual water meter. The extracted water flow reading then uploaded to cloud platform for analysis via internet connection. This device consists of Raspberry Pi 4 as the brain, Pi camera as the image capturing mechanism and YF-S201 water flow sensor as water flow reader. This work has the ability to allow early detection of water leakage due to constant analysis and therefore is able to detect any water leakage accurately from the analysis and provide an alert to the residential owner.
