Based on the results of the formative experiment, the possibilities of developing the motivational-volitional, cognitive and activity components of this readiness are determined by means of the author’s pedagogical model. The model is focused on the education and training of various categories of employees, including participants of functional groups, knowledge and skills to accomplish tasks to eliminate emergency situations in penitentiary institutions, the formation of independence, discipline, motivation for success, adaptive strategies of coping behavior, activity, ensuring the effectiveness of professional activity in extreme conditions.
