The prototype has multiple rectangular patches arranged in such a way that it gives an appearance of U shape slot in between. The volume of following antenna is 30×38×0.8 cubic mm, and the size of ground is kept congruent to the dimensions of base of the substrate. This design produce the frequency bands of (4.434 – 4.570 GHz), (6.429 – 6.579 GHz), (7.846 – 8.024 GHz), (8.187 – 8.338 GHz) and (9.018 – 9.185 GHz). These bands lie under the C and X band applications provided by the organization of IEEE. The significance of presented antenna is that the following compact and simple design has wide range of applications like terrestrial communication, keyless entry system, space communication, radar, baby monitor.
