TRANSFORMATION OF AGRICULTURAL LAND USE WITHIN DNIPROPETROVSK REGION IN CONTEXT OF UKRAINE'S EUROPEAN INTEGRATION COURSE
Introduction. Agricultural land is a strategic resource of the state, which determines the food security of the population. The success of agribusiness depends primarily on the ability of managers at different levels to manage land resources and other productive assets. Effective management is determined by awareness of the location, shape, size and configuration of cultivated fields, fertility, agrochemical properties of soils, localization of infrastructure, crop yields. Problems of land use transformation, especially in terms of agricultural land, become especially relevant during the formation of the land market and the consolidation of Ukraine's European integration course. This situation requires a radical transformation of land relations on a qualitatively new basis. Materials And Methods. Incomplete agricultural statistics, lack of scientifically systematic approach to the organization of crop rotations requires the use of new methods of geospatial analysis of agricultural land use. Agricultural production is not static, which determines the need to monitor its cycles. One of the most advanced, effective, and reliable sources of information on the properties of agricultural land and the state of crops is the remote sensing data. Dnipropetrovsk region has a strong land resource potential. With an area larger than the area of five EU member states, Dnipropetrovsk region also has some of the most favorable climatic and soil resources, so it can be considered a potential agricultural region, which in combination with developed industry and infrastructure, makes a good geographical location its key center of export-oriented agricultural production. And Discussion.
