Ward Shava and Open Budget Sessions were organized in limited scale and poor and vulnerable people had limited scope for contribution. EALG contributed to increasing participation of rural poor and marginalized people in the decision-making process of local governance through conduction of community-level meetings (Ward Shavas) at Union Parishads (UPs) [[E1]]. 100% of the targeted UPs conducted Ward Shava compared to 42.9% as per baseline survey [E2].
