Electromagnetic Wave Propagation in a Multilayered Periodic Structure Containing Negative Index Material
A multi-layered structure consisting of alternating layers of semiconductor and negative index material is considered. The dispersion curves are studied. The differences between the dispersion properties of semiconductor-dielectric periodic structure and semiconductor - negative index material structure are demonstrated.
