Solid Waste Management (SWM) is expensive and complex system for local self-governing organizations as it is directly concerned with the health, environment and quality of life of the local people. Incorrect waste collection practices and improper solid waste disposal can pose a serious hazard of local disease outbreak, water source pollution and greenhouse gases.
