It highlights the potential of using raw GPS measurements in a cooperative system together with a high-accurate digital map. The focus of this paper is on the definition and the implementation of the Car-to-Car message extensions needed to transmit GPS measurements between vehicles. Furthermore, the integration of EGNOS/EDAS satellite corrections into C2C communication is motivated and shown.
