本文着重对中美两国在中学数学编排教学中的差异进行比较,我们想找出中美两国在重视应用问题和处理方法上的不同。并着重研究了美国高中数学教材的应用排课问题,选取了PRENTICE HALL出版的具有代表性的数学教材课程1-3作为样本进行研究。并通过实例说明了材料具有丰富多彩的数学应用问题的三个层次。从而了解到美国中学生数学学习中丰富的生活现实和知识背景,体会到美国高中生在数学考试中面临的真实挑战。期望为读者带来丰富的教育资源。关键词:美国数学教材;应用问题;例题;
