Its propagation leads to more penalizing faults, such as phase-to-ground or phase-to-phase short circuits. The impact of an ITSC depends on the structure of the machine. In this paper, the ITSC is investigated on a 9- phase FSCW PMSG prototype with parallel-connected windings. Simulations are conducted in MATLAB/Simulink. Several fault severities are considered.
