It also reduces the rated capacity of circuit breakers for fault initiated transients from effecting spurious trips. This analysis illustrates the utilization of proposed FCL for analyzing power system dynamics and mitigation of fault conditions at Point of Common Coupling (PCC). The paper highlights the integration of a single switch with current controlled three phase FCL.
