Advance on the clinical application of Wuqinxi (Five Animals Qigong)

Wuqinxi (Five Animals Qigong) is a representative health Qigong and has been widely used to improve health and benefit rehabilitation. Researchers suggest that the Wuqinxi be useful to treat sports injury and cardiovascular, digestive and nervous disorders. The article reviewed the clinical advance of Wuqinxi and analyzed its mechanism for clinical application to popularize the practice and research of the Wuqinxi. [摘 要]五禽戏是中华民族一种古老的健身体操，寓保健、康复效益于生动形象的“戏”之中。对运动、心血管、消化及神经系统等的病症，都有一定的疗效。本文对五禽戏治疗各类病症的研究进展进行了总结和探讨。这将有利于对五禽戏作用机理的深入认识，为进一步开发利用五禽戏这一传统保健项目提供一定的理论基础。
