Numerical analysis of EMF safety and thermal aspects in a pacemaker with a Wireless Power Transfer system
This study deals with the numerical dosimetry analysis of a Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) system based on magnetic resonant coupling applied to a pacemaker for recharge its battery. Considering a quite low operational frequency (f=300 kHz), it is possible to obtain good results in terms of transferred power within a low impact on EMC and EMF safety issues. The numerical study permits to evaluate the temperature increase in the human body model by a thermal analysis.
