The key to a blockchain is to ensure the uniqueness of the ledger. Therefore, different consensus protocols have been designed to cater for different applications. Consensus protocols such as pow and pos allow nodes to enter and leave at any time but still ensure convergence, while PBFT and Raft protocols can speed up convergence in licensed blockchains but are relatively less secure. We analyse consensus protocols from a database perspective and can think of consensus protocols as consistency. We analyze the characteristics of consistency and propose CChain blockchain system, which integrates the eventual consistency method (CRDT) into Fabric for the first time.
