Romanian Biometric Word List for Public Key Fingerprint Validation

Public key cryptography is widely used for exchanging secret passwords over insecure channels, for data provenance identification and for authentication. Encrypted voice and video conferencing systems like Jitsi [1], Signal [2] and Linphone [3] depend on public key fingerprint validation in order to prevent man in the middle attacks [4]. This paper introduces a Romanian version of the PGP wordlist [5] based on a dictionary of 55000 words. The work presented here is unique for the Romanian language and is used for public key cryptography fingerprint validation in the Romanian language over voice or radio channels and for secure telephony.
