This review aims to provide assessment of the bioactivity and usefulness of Ag-based materials in biomedical technologies, which are produced with the use of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD) methods. The use of CVD and ALD technologies in the fabrication of silver layers, nanoparticles, and nanocomposites are discussed in the first part of this chapter.
