Notably, an analytical model is vital to network planners in order to asses resource allocation, fault tolerant mechanisms, as well as network dimensioning. Our model is based on the superposition concept applied to solve call blocking probabilities for EON and on the teletraffic engineering overflow system wherein rejected calls in one core are overflowed to the next core.
