IoT interoperability testing is an important step for IoT solutions but current face-to-face testing is cost-inefficient and labor-intensive. F-Interop aims to provide online interoperability, conformance, and performance testing tools enabling remote tests. This article presents the challenges faced by the IoT in online testing, and how F-Interop is addressing them, in order to provide an extensive experimental platform for online tests.
