A New Life of the Forgotten Work of the Irkutsk Chronicler and Local Historian

The publication of the reviewed book introduces the modern reader to the life and works of one of the first Irkutsk local historians P. I. Pezhemsky. The review presents the characteristics of his main work “Panorama of the Irkutsk Province”, which has come down to us in full form with the author's comments more than a century and a half after writing.
