So smart vehicle using an Internet of Things (IoT) technology is the solution to reduce the number of accidents and also to prevent theft. This paper presents a smart system design to detect the accident immediately. This system always monitors the gap between the vehicles using ultrasonic sensor. The proposed design is cognizant with GPS/GPRS and GSM that automatically send an alert message to family members and nearest rescue team.
