In accordance with the definition of metaphysics as the doctrine of true Being, as opposed to the illusory one, we can designate this direction of thoughts as metaphysical. A metaphysical breakthrough as a transition from one level of reality to another differs from such intellectual actions as mythologizing or creating a metaphor. From the standpoint of constructivist epistemology, we can speak of a metaphysical transition not only as a movement through the levels of reality, but also as a change in the reality. We can find a transition to another reality, in particular, in a situation of a paradigm shift in science (the scientific reality changes) and in a borderline situation when the lifeworld changes due to the global reassessment by a person of the circumstances of his/her life. Additionally, an epistemologist can describe such transition through the concepts of hermeneutical field and crystallization. 摘要
