The extraordinarysuccess of metal halide perovskites (MHPs) developed during the last years has made this family of semiconductors to be a potential candidate to implement a new generation of optoelectronic devices. Nevertheless, the practical application of these semiconductors still requires a deeper determination of the extent of their outstanding properties together with the right integration with electronic circuitry that takes advantage of them. In this manuscript, we propose a full photodetection system based on the integration of MAPbI3 (MA: methylammonium) MHPs polycrystalline thin films with interdigital electrodes and the efficient extraction of the generated photocurrent with a transimpedance amplifier. Under this configuration, the photoconductive properties of the devices are thoroughly determined, including the sensitivity, the on-off ratio, and the frequency response. As a result, the proposed device demonstrates a sensitivity below 1 µW at 450 nm, discriminates photocurrents smaller than 1 nA, and operates at frequencies higher than 10 kHz. The presented results are an important step toward the use of MHP as a photodetector in telecommunications or sensing.
