In RDBUDP, the sender will fill Buffer Size field in the packet header with expected value of buffer size, and then the Receiver will allocate corresponding buffer size according to this value in Buffer Size field to store potential disordered packets. 摘要

为了保证复杂无线网络中UDP报文的可靠性,提出了多种UDP可靠性改进方案。通过在UDP中加入ACK和Retransmission机制,确实保证了UDP的可靠性。但是,增加ACK和Retransmission会在一定程度上降低UDP的性能。为了提高无线网络的可靠UDP性能,本文提出了一种可靠动态缓冲UDP方案。在RDBUDP中,发送方在报文头的Buffer Size字段中填充预期的缓冲区大小,接收方根据缓冲区大小字段中的值分配相应的缓冲区大小,存储潜在的无序报文。仿真结果表明,在无线网络中,RDBUDP在网络吞吐量和时延方面都优于Reliable UDP。
