The EVT4 multi-channel data acquisition hardware is a main part of the system. This device offers a high signal to noise ratio of capacitance measurement and a high frame rate even for a 32 electrode sensor. The developed LabVIEW interface covers the entire functionality of the EVT4 communication protocol and implements multi-threading. The users can create own software dedicated to a given application. The elaborated open system allows working with sensors of various electrode configurations and different excitation cycle.
