Since a weighted centroid localization (WCL) algorithm can reduce hardware installation cost and guarantee localization accuracy, this algorithm is considered as one of the promising localization algorithms for WSNs. In this paper, we propose a test node-based WCL algorithm for improving the localization accuracy and making the localization system cost effective.
