This converter consists of two stages, a rectifier and an inverter which are connected without dc link capacitors. The rectifier ensures the four quadrants operation. The SVM technique of the indirect matrix converter is aimed to guarantee the control of the semiconductors in good conditions. So, provides balanced output voltages with controllable amplitude and frequency, a maximum value of the ratio between the output and the input voltages and a displacement factor near unity regardless the load. Symmetrical Space Vector Modulation of Three Phases Indirect Matrix Converter
