ABSTRACT: The use of in situ tests is essential for the development of geotechnical works, as they allow to know the real conditions of support and soil condition. However, obtaining good geotechnical parameters requires the use of technological, complex and, consequently, expensive tests, such as the Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD). In the search for cost reduction, it is possible to use more common and less expensive tests, such as the Dynamic Cone Penetration (DCP) and the Static Cone Penetration (SCP), and to establish correlations to obtain the good parameters. In this study, LWD, CPD and CPE tests were performed, with soils of type A-2-4, A-6 and A-3, in a container of determined dimensions, in order to establish correlations.
