However, the transmission distance still should be increased more than the current technology for practical use. Among various methods to improve the transmission distance, multiple coil structures have recently been in the spotlight. In this paper, the transmitter array condition to effectively increase the transmission distance is analyzed and derived mathematically. To validate our analysis, a multiple transmitters WPT system was experimentally implemented and the performance of the prototype was measured.
