In the proposed device, each period (or unit cell) of the photonic crystal lattice is composed of three different materials as ABAB'A in which A, B and B' layers are materials such as GaAs, LiNbO3 and KH2PO4, respectively. The refraction indices of the B and B' layers are changed by applying voltage. We employ the transfer matrix approach to obtain the transmittance of the photonic crystal device, and transmission spectra are drawn for a different number of unit cells N = 10, 20 with consideration of TE and TM modes.
