Moreover, anti-corrosive water treatment technologies significantly affect the efficiency of operation of thermal power plants and boiler plants. This paper considers the problems of protecting equipment of heat sources and heat supply systems from internal corrosion. The solutions aimed at achieving high quality deaerated water and improving water treatment systems are given.The analysis of the operation of deaeration devices of Ulyanovsk heat sources is carried out. The technical solutions for improving the designs of thermal deaerators and the schemes of switching them on are suggested. The article also presents an effective design of a thermal deaerator, patented by the authors, which provides for overheating of the source water relative to the pressure in the deaerator, which allows the deaerator to operate both in atmospheric and vacuum mode. The technologies for switching on gas venting devices, which make it possible to increase the efficiency of the process of vacuum deaeration of water, are considered.
