After taking informed consent, 235 women were interviewed using pretested questionnaire and information was collected in historically prospective manner. Various factors like religion, spouse education, socio-economic status, wife occupation, age at menarche, marriage age, previous use of contraceptive type, decision making for use of oral contraceptive, current use of oral contraceptive, number of living children, parity and age at first use of oral contraceptive were analyzed using bivariate and multivariate analysis.
