By using Model-Driven (MDA) development methods, that kind of combined model makes possible to deploy virtual data warehouse solution with automatically generated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) business logic. The result of this work is the database meta-model, which stores OLAP and OLTP data models and relations between them.
