IoT based recommendation system for healthcare due to inhalation of Carbon Monoxide
Carbon monoxide is a common byproduct of incomplete combustion of carbon materials. It is a toxic gas that causes headaches, nausea, and dizziness, as well as death in some cases. As a result, human safety and security in the presence of CO are critical. Apart from detection, designing a recommendation system for a long time carbon monoxide inhalation has, therefore, become very much vital to avoid such severe incidents. This paper proposes and implements a recommendation system for each specific interval of time so that users must beware of each time interval of CO inhalation. This recommendation system can be used in medical diagnosis by the doctor during any health-related issue. The proposed system in this research paper creates storage on ThingSpeak channels that constantly updates the data from the CO sensors on the concentration of the CO gas. After that, continuous IoT analytics through MATLAB on Thingspeak sends a health recommendation for each specific time interval. This recommendation is made throughout the days hence behaves as an advisory system. Also, in this system, for a limited purpose, a specific alert message system is added through the IFTTT web service when the concentration of CO goes beyond the threshold value.
