摘要

本文基于LZW码的最优性,提出了一种基于无损字典的数据压缩技术。压缩过程从空字典开始,如果下一个要编码的符号已经在字典中,则符号代码的长度由字典中最高的符号代码确定,并使用字典中的代码进行编码。否则,符号用8位ASCII码编码。提出的压缩技术消除了LZW压缩技术的一些局限性。将该技术与两种不同版本的LZW数据压缩技术进行了比较,结果表明,该技术尤其适用于小文件。
