Design of 100Gbps double transverse coupled cavity VCSELs
We present a novel design of double-transverse-coupled-cavity VCSELs toward ultrahigh speed modulations of 100Gbps. In-plane lateral optical feedback in both cavities enables the large bandwidth enhancement of direct modulations.
