Highly aberrated phase elements for presbyopia and astigmatism correction
We propose the use of highly aberrated cubic phase elements for correction of presbyopia in combination with astigmatism. The experimental validation shows that it is possible to extend the range of clear vision from 0.6m to 6m for presbyopes with an astigmatism up to 2D regardless on the orientation of its axis.
