However, the high-speed movement of UAVs will lead to drastic changes in the network topology, and the energy they carry is usually limited. Therefore, realizing fast, efficient, and low-energy ad hoc network technology between UAVs is an urgent problem that needs to be solved. In this paper, we propose UMBND, a UAV-Mobility and Traffic-Driven Adaptive Neighbor Discovery method. First, we analyze the discovery scene of FANET. Then, we statistically analyze the neighbor discovery process and derive the relationship between neighbor discovery performance and mobility and traffic-driven. Based on our theoretical analysis, the optimal neighbor discovery can adaptively adjust the beacon broadcast frequency.
