These converters are highly recognized by its reduced sizes that benefit the direct attachment to each photovoltaic module. This paper presents a development of a non-isolated DC-DC converter topology for photovoltaic applications. A numerical simulation based on the 3D finite element method (3D FEM) of inductor has been performed since it represents a pivotal element with large dimension in DC-DC converters.
