For this, primary schools cooperate with music schools. In order to scientifically evaluate processes and effects of this programme, the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) has funded JeKi research for a total of seven years. This article outlines interdisciplinary research questions und key results of studies ranging from music education, music psychology, neurosciences to educational sciences.
