An effective interior-point-method-based optimal power flow (IPMOPF) [1,2,3] was incorporated into an operator training simulator (OTS) to present different performance results of multi-area operations. A realistic power system network model is used for testing and verification purposes. Simulated Extensive Optimal Power System Operations Via Effective Optimization Techniques
