The model predictive current control method is adopted to replace the PI controller in the current loop of the traditional PWM rectifier. On this basis, the switch state of the rectifier applied under the open circuit fault of the power switching devices is compared with the optimal switch state obtained by model predictive control, and the fault feature signal is established to realize the fault diagnosis and positioning of the charging pile power switching devices. Since the fault feature signals of different power switching devices have no influence on each other, this method has significant effect on single tube, double tube, and multiple tube simultaneously fault.
