Often globally dispersed project teams work together in a virtual setting, but we also find organizations that are fully organized following a virtual design. New technology facilitates the implementation of virtual teamwork into the organization. However, new technology steadily evolves and adaptations by organizations are not always considered as successful. We therefore propose an algorithm for matching technology to work processes of virtual teams.
