A Conceptual Model of User Experience in Scrum Practice
The current challenge on software development is integrating User Experience (UX) into Scrum practice because the existing Scrum practice mostly has not specifically mentioned the way UX method implemented in a project development. Hence, many software company still does not even know the difference between UI and UX. They are often confused on this new term and having difficulties to blend it with their Scrum team. Therefore, drawing from a systematic literature reviews, this paper discusses how UX integrate into Scrum practice. We classified UX-Scrum integration from the role of UX designer in a Scrum team; Parallel Working when the UX team working independently of the development team by working in separate Sprint from its implementation [1]. Working within a Sprint, when a UX person being partnered with a developer or product owner during the given Sprint [1]. Lean UX, a new method has been introduced by integrating collaborative routine that played out across the UX and the rhythms of Scrum [7]. These three models show different working style of UX designer to catch up with scrum team.
