The presented approach is based on reference Fog computing model, where sensor devices are connected to the edge fog node enabling the implementation of distributed real-time sensing applications. The proposed concept implies that the sensor data processing is relocated to the connected fog node, reducing hardware and power requirements of the sensor device.
