Microrecording of writer's cramp signals with indigenously developed advanced real-time multi-channel intelligent-EMG-system
In this study we gathered EMG Writers cramp signals from 5 weights of right-hand, when the subject inscribed first with right hand and left hand, i.e. right-hand-writing-signal (RHWS) and left-hand-writing-signal (LHWS) over a period of 10 seconds with sampling-frequency (fs) 3 kHz yields 3k readings, 150k samples/5muscle channels. Maximum fs of A/D is 40 k samples/sec, conversion time 25 μ-Sec. Due to system bus and computer-monitor resolution limitation, only 3 kHz (fs) sampling done. Neuro-sensors were embedded in dominant intrinsic dystonia attacked RH and signal acquisition — recording was performed while writing from both LH and RH. Left hand writing is mainly to see the mirror objects (i.e. movements) of RH. Our computational results showed 80% variation with the first two PC scores in our scatter plot.
