Dis-moi d’où tu viens, je te dirai qui tu es ? Écriture migrante et quête de soi

Abstract In this article, we will attempt to define identity with its movements and stereotypes. Immigration has, in fact, made religion, the habits of the older generations, problematic since it has brought into question parental and tribal power. The quest for identity would now be a questioning about the past and the present. To carry out this work, we will try to analyze the colonial discourse with its constraints and its enunciation of identity in Je ne parle pas la langue de mon père by Leila Sebbar, and finally to highlight the identity strategies that allow the writer to thwart these postcolonial constraints, all in a perspective of identity construction. Résumé  Dans cet article, nous tenterons de définir l'identité beure, avec ses mouvements et ses stéréotypes. L'immigration a, en effet, rendu problématique la religion, les us des anciennes générations dans la mesure où elle a généré une remise en cause du pouvoir parental et tribal. La quête identitaire serait désormais un questionnement sur le passé et le présent. Pour mener à bien ce travail, nous essayerons d'analyser le discours colonial avec ses contraintes et son énonciation identitaire dans Je ne parle pas la langue de mon père, de Leila Sebbar et enfin mettre en relief les stratégies identitaires permettant à l'écrivaine de déjouer ces contraintes postcoloniales, tout ceci dans une perspective de construction identitaire.
