Reducing surges on LV power lines due to lightning stroke to a telecom tower
The paper describes new ideas for designing grounding electrode configurations, capable of greatly reducing surges injected into public LV power distribution lines due to tall telecom towers hit by lightning strokes. Simulations showing the performance of some studied configurations are presented.
