This article summarizes factors affecting the box stacking strength. Supporting data from various pieces of work performed at Christian Brothers University as class projects are provided. These factors include ECT, wall length, box height, humidity, flute size, loading direction, overhang, stacking alignment, slip sheet, and recycled material. Different ways to strengthen box corner load carrying capacity are also presented.
